I am a soon to graduate Senior at IU Indianapolis, receiving my B.S. in Health Services Management. I have worked in a variety of setting, involving customer service along with patient care.
About Me
I am a senior planning to graduate in May from IU Indianapolis, receiving my B.S. in Health Services Management. I am currently an EMT, and plan to pursue a career as a Paramedic. This requires me to go back to school for my paramedic certification, but I plan to get professional experience under my belt prior to taking this step.
Why Health Services Management?
I chose to study Health Service Management because I knew I wanted to work in healthcare at the beginning of college I just was not unsure which part. After looking into dozens of careers I knew I wanted to be in the clinical setting, which eventually led me to Para medicine. A Health Service Management degree was a broad program that gave me different opportunities and possibilities for career options, which is why I chose that path.
